A few of my favorite Real Estate photos from Week 1 of 2018 with Virtual Tidewater!

I was photographing headshot for the staff at Impact and thought I'd get some shots of the school and the nice clouds after we wrapped things up. I also managed to get a couple of good shots of one of the MMA fighters as well!
A lot of exciting things have happened in 2015, and I really have not been blogging as much as I should have. So I just want to take a moment to recap some of the highlights and my project for this year.
March of last year was the day of my graduate portfolio review which marked my last day as a student of the Art Institute of Virginia Beach. Not long after, I began working with Virtual Tidewater as a real estate photographer! With my passion for my architecture photography, it was truly an honor getting this opportunity straight out of college. I formally walked the stage and received my diploma in June and have been working quite frequently since then. I have also taken a view trips last year including Toronto, Karachi, and Dubai in which I took photos that will be up soon!
My goal for 2016 is to blog the progress of my work with architecture and interior photography. One project is to post a monthly update of the top properties I have photographed through Virtual Tidewater, and my own personal projects as they come along.
2015 was a great year with lots of success, so here's to another year filled with opportunities and progress!!!
A peek at a luxury property I photographed on Thursday!
Some behind the scene shots from an Afghani wedding last night. Had a great time!
It's amazing how many different things you can see in one area.
Here's the results of the shoot I did at Hiltop! These 3 are my personal favorites.
You know you love what you do when you're out in the freezing cold and getting honked at while you're in the middle of the road just for fun!
Spending Valentine's Day at the office.
It's amazing how much you can capture with a simple smartphone. Taking pictures with my phone while taking a walk after dinner is quite relaxing!
So I had a deal with my buddy that if he installed a new stereo in my car, then I would take his portraits. Not only did I get a new stereo, but I got to take pictures of people after a long while and work on my lighting skills. I wish it was a little earlier in the evening could get a sunset and blue sky but the results were pretty good for a late night shoot.
Surprisingly this merge was a lot simpler that I thought. I only used about 18 of the photos from the whole shoot. Perhaps I'll try another location as well. Hm....
Beautiful view to wrap things up
Today I'm starting a project that will test my photoshop skills. The project involves me sitting in one place for what I predict will be a duration of 4 hours.
Basically what im doing is taking all the photos I take and show day and night within one photo. I'm not entirely sure how I want to do it yet. Maybe I could have the transition in the sky, or perhaps show the bright night life along with the day clouds
Sometimes you just have to take a seat, enjoy the breeze, and take in the view!
